Artist Biography

Laura, known by her artist name Magick On A Paper, was born on July 24, 1994, in Middle Franconia, Southern Germany. From a young age, Laura found solace and expression through drawing, a practice that helped her understand herself and her environment.

Primarily working with digital art, collages, and acrylic painting, Laura enjoys experimenting with new materials and techniques. Her art is intuitive and inspired by her surroundings, spirituality, nature, animals, music, and personal emotions. Additionally, her work as a nurse provides a profound source of inspiration, enriching her artistic perspective with experiences of care and empathy.

In September 2023, Laura graduated in Illustration Design from AID Berlin. Her final project was a self-written and illustrated children's book, Traumpfad, showcasing her talent in storytelling and visual art.

Laura believes that everyone has creativity within them and that expressing it is essential. Her work brings light and color into people's lives, embodying her belief in the power of words, images, and the potential to turn dreams into reality. Through Magick On A Paper, she celebrates the magical connection between creativity and healing, aiming to inspire others to explore and express their inner worlds. Laura's dual roles as an artist and a nurse allow her to infuse her art with compassion and understanding, making her work both deeply personal and universally resonant.
